![]() In this pic he has been around a bunch of family at a park, is surveying a new area, but honestly bliss from quite a bit of beef grizzle is what you are seeing here. But he was such an athlete, super adventurer, hyper extrovert. Our pets became more boring and he took the hint eventually. But he was most excited about leaving the house for a run, walk, meet ups with dog friends, dog parks, visits to family where there were enough people to circle around for head scratches a few times with nobody getting too bored of moving wine to the middle of the coffee table so the small horse wouldn’t flap it off with his tail. He was a happy guy around the house and yard. One thing I ordered was just a little wooden urn keychain in kind of “his colors” gold, orange fall types - also the season he had the most excited energy. No offense to him, I don’t really want it but I didn’t not want it. One more Pasha pic here - I haven’t known what to do with this box of ashes. And in his rosewood box, I’ll have just some little jar of ashes, little love notes from all the vets and groomers over the years, photos, his last brocade collar, a tennis ball if it fits (fetch fanatic) Now I have some ideas for separating some of those. I ready don’t want a whole bag of ashes but didn’t feel like I had time to think about it. Anyway, now it’s been some weeks but the clinic sent me this note. Still took me another week, at a regular check up for Anouk to ask the front desk if they had removed Pasha from their records (his appointment would have been the following day at that point). She just said she was so sorry, no need to know what happened (they all knew Pasha and his aging). ![]() ![]() The vet asked about Pasha, I started crying, told her i emergency clinic put him to sleep. I brought Anouk in for her leg just a couple days after putting Pasha to sleep. I put in my calendar every day to call and cancel his upcoming appointment - because I kept moving it to the next day, not able to make a phone call without crying. Pasha was put to sleep at an emergency clinic, not our regular clinic.
